Our sit at Sheri's and Matt's house is easy to describe because everything was right ... Even if it was brief, we got a warm welcome and Sheri told us everything we needed to know. The nice, comfortable and modern, house is ideally situated on the outskirts of Tavira and within walking distance to everything. The town itself, the dogs playground, the market, a few restaurants and even a grocery shop is only 10 minutes away.
The two "fox-hounds" named Mavis and Cash are extremely friendly. Pedestrians, cyclists and cars are no problem for them, but cats energetically bring out their hunting instinct !!! Because we wanted and they liked it, we walked for 1½ to 2 hours in the nearby salt marshes at sunrise and sunset and let them run. The two never lost us and always returned to us. To reassure us, we could use the dogs GPS tracking collars.
Needless to say that will miss Mavis and Cash very much and would certainly come back for another house sit.
